Azurite-malachite combines two popular color palettes of blue from Azurite and Green from Malachite, often referred to as Azurmalachite. This stone is set on 22 gauge sterling silver back. It is surrounded by a hand-notched bezel and triangle-wire which adds to the design without distracting from the unique pattern of blues and greens. This color blend is good for transitional jewelry pieces, casual enough for daytime wear and elegant enough for evening styles.

Fun Fact: Azurite and Malachite are very common worldwide and often occur in mines side-by-side. Due to the replacement of some carbon dioxide by water during weathering processes, azurite changes to malachite.
Mixtures of both minerals are not uncommon, and most of it can be found in Bisbee, Arizona, USA.
