This 40 ct Labradorite shines with Iridescent blues and greens. The backing is 20 gauge sterling silver. The stone is set in a scalloped bezel. The design is balanced with bead wire, and many sterling "rain-drops". A lot of silver surrounds this stone! Labradorite's multiple colors make it a versatile stone, which can be worn with many different colored outfits.

Fun Fact: The name "labradore" comes from the French word for Labrador where this type of rock was first discovered in 1770 by Morava missionaries in Canada. To this day Labradorite is mined there.
