Banded design of bright green to deep shades of green, this 18 carat Malachite stone is the perfect size and shape for this size 7 ring. The stone is surrounded by a sterling, serrated edge bezel and set on a sturdy 20-gauged, sterling back. The design is balanced out with sterling "rain-drops" and pegs on each side. The solid 1/2 round ring band is strong and will hold its shape. It fits true to size and it sits comfortably at the base of your finger.

Fun Fact: The name malachite is believed to come from the Greek word “molochitus”, referring to the mallow leaf which is similar in color. Malachite has been used by humans since before the middle ages, and was believed to protect one from evil.
