Sonora Sunrise, and sometimes called Sonora Sunset, is a rock composed mainly of bluish-green chrysocolla and bright red cuprite. It is named for the colorful sunsets over the Sonoran Desert, from which it is found. This beautiful stone is set on a sturdy 20 gauge sterling silver back. It is surrounded by a "picket fence" bezel and twist wire. The sterling ball and pegs design on the side could represent the moon and stars over the beautiful Sonora Sunset.

- 1.75 inches at its widest (40mm)
- The bale is 8mm wide to slip onto a thick chain or choker
Fun Fact: This stone is from the Milpillas Mine in Sonora, Mexico. The mine opened in 2006. Though most copper mines are open pit mines, this material is covered by 1000 feet of gravel! The mine closed in 2019 and this material is no longer coming out!
